Pure Filter Refill Granules

When used with your Aarke Water Purifier, the Pure Filter Refill Granules help reduce the presence of the following substances:

Substance
Reduction Rate
Chlorine
80–100%
Lead
90–100%
Copper
80–100%
Limescale
90–100%

Enriched Filter Refill Granules

When used with your Aarke Water Purifier, the Enriched Filter Refill Granules provide the following filtration benefits:

Copper
80–100%
Lead
90–100%

Additional benefits:

  • Add magnesium to your water

  • Increase pH levels, turning tap water into alkaline water

Other Substances (Pesticides, Herbicides, Iron, PFAS, Hormones)

The activated carbon in both Pure and Enriched filter granules may help reduce substances such as:

  • Pesticides

  • Herbicides

  • Iron

  • PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances)

  • Hormones

However, the effectiveness in reducing these substances depends on the initial composition of your tap water. Because water quality varies by household and location, we cannot provide specific reduction percentages for these substances.

Limitations

The Aarke Water Purifier is not designed to remove the following:

  • Microplastics

  • Medicines / Pharmaceutical residues

  • Fluoride

  • Nitrates

  • Oestrogen

  • Viruses

These substances require different filtration technologies that are not part of our current system. The Aarke Purifier is designed to improve key aspects of everyday tap water quality.

Certifications

The Aarke Water Purifier, when used with either Pure or Enriched Filter Granules, has been third-party tested by a Water Quality Association-accredited laboratory and meets the following NSF standards:

  • NSF 53: Reduction of lead and copper

  • NSF 42: Reduction of chlorine

In addition, both the Aarke Water Purifier and Aarke Water Purifier Large are EN17093:2018 certified by TÜV SÜD, ensuring compliance with European safety and performance standards.
