Water in the tray (Carbonator Pro)Updated a month ago
It's normal for a small amount of water to collect in the drip tray after carbonation. This happens because when the pressure is released (by letting go of the button), some water is drawn up with the gas and flushed through the machine's valves, eventually reaching the drip tray. To minimize this, we recommend pulling down the release handle more slowly, allowing the valves to release excess gas at a lower rate. Ideally, the 'psshhh' sound should last for 2-3 seconds.
Another tip is to fill the bottle with water about 2 cm below the fill line, which can help reduce splashing.
If these tips don't resolve the issue, please contact our customer service team for further assistance.
If your carbonation isn't up to par, in addition to excess water collecting in the drip tray, please check the gasket around the carbonator's nozzle. Turn the machine to the side and examine the carbonator's head. There should be a thin, white or transparent seal around the nozzle. We’ve attached the photo below for your reference.
If the seal is missing, you can remove one from your glass bottle caps, place it around the nozzle, and test the machine again. If this resolves the issue, please contact our customer service to request a new seal for your bottle.
If the seal is in place or you’re unsure, please reach out to our customer service team and, if possible, provide a photo similar to the one attached to this article.
